The Chief Security Officer (CSO) is a pivotal executive role, responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the entire security strategy and operations across Cyforce Security and its extensive client portfolio. This leader will ensure the highest standard of security service delivery, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and risk management, safeguarding both the company's personnel and its clients' assets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Formulate and execute a proactive, comprehensive security strategy that aligns with Cyforce’s mission and business objectives, covering physical, corporate, and technical security services.
Operational Oversight: Directly manage and provide executive oversight for all security operations, including uniformed on-site security teams, mobile patrol units, and the deployment of technical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring).
Risk Management & Audits: Lead all security risk assessments, threat intelligence activities, and technical security surveys & audits for Cyforce and its major clients, ensuring robust preventative measures are in place.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure absolute compliance with all local and national security guarding regulations, industry best practices, and the company's quality standards for service delivery.
Executive Client Relations: Serve as the top security liaison for major corporate accounts, building trusted relationships and presenting strategic security solutions and performance reports.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the executive security management team and foster a culture of professionalism, vigilance, and continuous improvement across the entire security workforce.
Budget Management: Manage the security budget, focusing on delivering cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or performance.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in senior security management, with at least 5 years in an executive or CSO/Director-level role, preferably within the private security services industry. Or Retired Police or any Military Paramilitary Organization.
Proven expertise in managing large-scale physical security operations, corporate security programs, and integrating advanced technical security systems.
A relevant security certification (e.g., Certified Protection Professional - CPP, or similar executive-level security qualification) is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance and a deep understanding of security laws and governance frameworks.
Exceptional strategic planning, crisis management, communication, and leadership skills.
Advanced degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
