This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Risk Officer located in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The Chief Risk Officer will be responsible for overseeing the company's risk management framework, identifying and assessing potential risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Day-to-day tasks include managing enterprise risk, credit risk, and market risk, as well as monitoring financial performance and implementing risk policies.
The role requires collaboration with other departments to ensure risk management is integrated into all business processes.
Qualifications
Expertise in Enterprise Risk Management and Credit Risk Management
Knowledge of Market Risk and Finance
Strong Analytical Skills and an ability to interpret financial data
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively
Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred
