Job brief

• The Technical Presales Engineer provides technical support and expertise throughout the sales process to help drive sales of Activedge Technologies products and services. This role involves collaborating with the sales team to understand customer needs, presenting technical solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of products.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Governance and Strategy

• Develop and implement a comprehensive ERM framework aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
• Define risk appetite and secure Board approval for qualitative and quantitative metrics.
• Establish risk governance structures integrated with decision-making and operations.
• Provide regular risk assessments to the Board, Audit Committee, and Leadership Team.

Operational and Business Risk Management

• Collaborate with executives to ensure operational risks remain within the company’s risk appetite.
• Oversee the design and implementation of internal controls to mitigate operational and business risks.

Cybersecurity and Data Privacy

• Partner with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to enhance cybersecurity measures.
• Monitor risks related to AI ethics, data breaches, and compliance.

Regulatory and Compliance Oversight

• Stay updated on global and regional regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
• Establish policies addressing risks tied to intellectual property, antitrust, and consumer rights.

Financial and Strategic Risk Management

• Assess financial exposures, including market volatility and investment risks.
• Align risk management strategies with financial planning and strategic initiatives.

Leadership and Culture

• Cultivate a culture of accountability and risk awareness across the organization.
• Lead and develop a high-performing risk management team.
• Provide training to enhance risk management expertise company-wide.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Technology, or related fields.
• Master’s degree or certifications (CRM, FCRM, FRM, CRISC, PRM) preferred.

Experience:

• 10–15 years in risk management, compliance, or related fields within technology or financial services.
• Proven ability to manage risks tied to digital transformation and data security.
• Experience collaborating with C-suite executives and Board members.

Skills:

• Analytical skills for assessing complex risks.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of technology trends, cybersecurity, and regulations.
• Leadership skills to drive collaboration and influence decisions.
