Job Requirements

• A minimum of a first degree, preferably in a business related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in microfinance, at least five at management level.
• Verifiable track record of business growth in the microfinance space.
• Up to date knowledge of the fin tech environment.
• MCIB designation (Chartered Institute of Banking of Nigeria) or any other recognized microfinance certification.

Job Description

• Drive business development, utilizing his/her networks to build loan volumes across all product lines, and attract new sources of funding.
• Oversee the overall operations of the MFI, including loan processing and disbursement, operations, risk assessment, and loan monitoring and recovery.
• Drive the development of new products and enhancement of existing products to expand business reach.
• Oversee tracking of performance against budget.
• Oversee the timely completion of the annual audit process in conjunction with the Finance team.
• Liaise with the Finance function to ensure timely preparations of financial reports, including monthly management accounts, board reports and annual budget.
• Oversee the deployment of technology solutions to enhance the Company’s market reach.
• Enhance the Company’s visibility through the deployment of appropriate marketing channels.
