Chief Financial Officer at Aazik Homes

Overview:

The CFO will provide financial leadership and oversee the financial health of AAZIK Group (Aazik Homes & Aazik Lubricant). This includes developing strategies for investment, ensuring compliance, and managing financial risks for both the real estate and oil & gas subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance and accounting teams.
• Develop financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve profitability.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, investments, and debt structures.
• Present quarterly and annual financial reports to stakeholders.

Skills:

• Expertise in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualification:

• Bsc in related field
• ICAN certification

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Financial Management

• Budget Adherence: Maintain variance of actual expenses vs. budget within ±5%.
• Cost Efficiency: Reduce operational costs by 10% annually.
• Revenue Growth: Achieve a 500% revenue increase for both subsidiaries. ( We did 2Billion last year and we want 10Billion this year)

Reporting and Compliance

• Timely Reporting: Submit accurate financial reports within 7 days of each month-end.
• Audit Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with all internal and external audits.

Cash Flow and Liquidity

• Cash Flow Management: Maintain a minimum cash reserve threshold of 3 months’ operating expenses.
• Debt Management: Keep debt-to-equity ratio below 2:1.

Investor Relations

• Investment Growth: Secure at least ₦500 million in new investments annually.
• Investor Reporting: Deliver quarterly investment updates with actionable insights.

Team Leadership

• Employee Development: Ensure 90% of the finance team achieves professional certifications or skill upgrades annually.
