JOB SUMMARY

• Our client, a prominent financial services company, is seeking a Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to drive financial strategy, profitability, and sustainable growth. The CFO will oversee financial stewardship, governance, risk management, and operational efficiency within the fintech space, including lending, payments, and investment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring profitability and operational excellence.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while providing data-driven insights to support growth and innovation.

Governance, Risk, and Compliance

• Ensure regulatory compliance, implement risk management strategies, and maintain financial governance best practices.

Treasury & Capital Management

• Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and investor relations to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and cross-functional collaboration.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with at least 5 years in the fintech industry.
• Proven track record in leading finance functions in fintech businesses, preferably in lending, payments, or investment sectors.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance in the financial services/fintech industry.
• Experience with investor relations, fundraising, and capital markets.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex financial models and forecasting in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Strong knowledge of financial management, forecasting, budgeting, risk management, and 
• regulatory requirements within the fintech industry.
• Ability to think strategically and translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Familiarity with financial technology, digital platforms, and fintech products.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and Central Bank regulations governing the fintech space
