Job Description

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for the financial and operational management of the factory based in Kano. As the right-hand person to the CEO, the CFO will be tasked with supervising all financial activities of the company, including cash management, financial forecasting, cost control, and regular financial reporting. The successful candidate will need to have a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as a deep understanding of industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Oversee all financial activities of the factory, including cash management, general accounting, and cash flow management. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Financial Planning: Develop accurate financial forecasts to support the growth and development of the company. Collaborate with the management to develop strategic plans and annual budgets.
• Cost Control: Analyze production costs and identify opportunities for expense optimization. Implement cost control measures to ensure operational efficiency.
• Financial Reporting: Produce regular financial reports for the management and headquarters. Provide in-depth financial analysis to help inform strategic business decisions.

• Risk Management: Identify and evaluate potential financial and operational risks. Implement measures to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
• Liaison with Headquarters: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Kano factory and headquarters. Provide regular updates on the financial performance of the factory and make recommendations to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Significant experience (at least 10 years) in a financial leadership position, preferably in the industrial sector.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, financial forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to understand industrial operations and provide strategic advice accordingly.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with multifunctional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present financial information clearly and concisely
