Job Summary

• They are seeking to hire an experienced and commercially driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its strategic growth and operational expansion.
• The ideal candidate will own the company’s commercial strategy, lead major deal negotiations, and manage relationships with investors and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs).

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership:

• Develop and execute the company’s commercial growth strategy.
• Personally build and close a commercial pipeline of at least 40MW within the first year.
• Drive business opportunities targeting Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customers, DISCOs, and government ministries across Nigeria.
• Lead high-value negotiations and secure strategic commercial contracts.
• Maintain a minimum gross margin threshold of 25% across all commercial agreements.

Investor & DFI Engagement:

• Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs).
• Lead fundraising discussions, strategic partnerships, and investment negotiations.
• Represent the company in high-level stakeholder engagements and industry forums.

Project & Infrastructure Development:

• Oversee NERC captive generation licensing applications from Month 1.
• Lead land lease negotiations and supervise solar feasibility studies for anchor projects by Q2.
• Ensure effective project execution, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive infrastructure expansion and long-term sustainability initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• MBA qualification required.
• Registered member of COREN.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional leadership experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience at Director, Managing Director, or CEO level.
• Proven track record of personally closing commercial contracts within the energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.
• Ability to provide verifiable deal values and counterparty references.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: N3,000,000 per month
• Performance Bonus: Up to N78,000,000
• Comprehensive private health insurance for the CEO and up to three (3) dependants.
• Official company vehicle.
• Relocation allowance to Abuja where applicable
