Chief Analyst at Nairametrics

Job Description 

• Compile and analyze financial data and create financial models for decision making
• Report on financial performance and preparing for timely review.
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement.
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommending actions for optimization
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses, studying proposed changes in methods and materials
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.

REQUIREMENTS 

• 5 -10 years in Financial and data analysis
• BSC in Economics or must be a chartered Accountant 
• Msc or MBA is an added advantage. 
• Good knowledge of the Financial Market.
• Ability to relate the impact of monetary and fiscal policy in the financial markets and wider micro economy.
