Chemistry Teacher at TAAS College

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver clear, engaging, and interactive Chemistry lessons.
• Prepare students for WAEC/NECO/IGCSE and other relevant examinations.
• Design lesson notes, teaching aids, and practical experiments.
• Assess, record, and report students’ academic progress.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
• Teaching qualification (TRCN certification preferred) but if not available, no problem
• Proven experience teaching Chemistry at secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of Chemistry curriculum and laboratory practices.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about education and student success.
