Job Description

• We are seeking qualified and experienced Chemist / Senior Chemist with a track record of excellence in cement production for our two ultra-modern cement plants in Edo and Sokoto States.

Job Overview

• To ensure proper testing of all physical and chemical parameters of raw materials, intermediate and finished products in accordance with Nigerian Industrial Standard, NIS.

Duties & Responsibilities

• To Supervise Chemical and Physical testing of raw materials, intermediate and finished product in accordance with the NIS.
• To effectively Supervise building of raw materials stockpiles with a view to controlling raw meal and Kiln feed Chemistry.
• To update and preserve all test records.
• To effectively monitor and instruct on necessary measures to ensure good quality of intermediate and finished product in accordance with NIS.

Qualifications / Experience

• B.Sc / B. Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry / Physics / other natural Sciences
• 8 - 10 years of hands-on experience of working in a cement plant laboratory at a managerial level.
