Job Summary:

The CCTV Control Room Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the company’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to ensure the safety and security of Mshel Homes Limited properties, assets, staff, and residents. The role involves real-time surveillance, incident reporting, and coordination with security personnel to respond to suspicious activities or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor live CCTV feeds across multiple locations in real-time to detect suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Ensure all cameras and recording equipment are functioning properly; report faults or outages promptly.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of incidents, equipment issues, and any notable activities.
• Respond to alarms and dispatch security personnel or emergency services when necessary.
• Retrieve and compile video footage as required for investigations or audits.
• Report any health, safety, or maintenance concerns observed during surveillance to the appropriate department.
• Follow company security protocols and maintain strict confidentiality of all recorded data and operations.
• Cooperate with law enforcement or management during investigations or emergencies.
• Ensure the control room remains secure, clean, and organized at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum of B.SC or H.N.D; additional certifications in security operations or IT is an advantage.
• Proven experience in a similar role, especially in real estate or facility management settings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
• Proficient in using CCTV systems, control room software, and radio communication tools.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
