Job Overview: 

We are seeking caring and reliable Caregivers to join our growing team. We are committed to providing exceptional, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve by assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and promoting independence. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities, fostering social interaction and emotional well-being.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed and monitor their health, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical professionals and family members.
• Document care provided, observations, and client progress accurately and promptly.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Respect client confidentiality and privacy.
• Transport clients to appointments or errands, as needed and where applicable.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related role is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a compassionate attitude.
• Ability o perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting with mobility.

Qualifications: 

• Certification in caregiving program (e.g. Care Certificate or equivalent is a plus).
• Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably in a home healthcare setting. (Experience with specific needs, like dementia care, is a plus.)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
• Ability to pass a background check.
