Role Summary:

As a Cardiologist at our client's healthcare facility, you will specialize in diagnosing and treating diseases and disorders of the heart and cardiovascular system. You will perform diagnostic tests, interpret imaging studies, and develop personalized treatment plans to address patients' cardiac health needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnostic tests to assess patients' cardiovascular health.
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests to diagnose heart conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with heart diseases, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and surgical interventions.
• Perform cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and pacemaker implantation as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about heart disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, cardiac surgeons, and nurse practitioners, to provide coordinated care for patients.
• Stay updated on the latest research and advances in cardiology to ensure evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training in Cardiology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology.
• Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.
• Proven experience working as a Cardiologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of cardiovascular diseases and treatments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
