Cardiologist at Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Centre

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced cardiologist to join our team at Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with heart-related conditions, conducting tests and procedures, interpreting diagnostic results, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Perform interventional procedures, such as angioplasty and cardiac catheterization, as required.
• Provide patient education and counseling on cardiovascular health and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, technicians, and specialists, to coordinate patient care.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Residency  in cardiology.
• Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.
• Proven experience as a cardiologist, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiovascular diseases and treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
