Calibration Engineer at Smartflow Technologies Limited

Job Summary

We are seeking a Calibration Engineer with solid hands-on experience in calibration processes and instrumentation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment accuracy and compliance with ISO 9001 standards, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in calibration and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calibrate instruments such as flowmeters and liquid storage tanks (under and above ground)
• Set up and verify calibration exercises, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Design and implement standard calibration procedures across the organization.
• Maintain and update all platform-related calibration processes 
• Carry out assessment, modelling, and optimization of calibration processes to reduce lead time.
• Coordinate with the HSE coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents)

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical engineering or related field 
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in a calibration-focused or similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Prior experience in the petroleum industry is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of calibration processes and tank cleaning services.
• Must be able to perform non entry tank cleaning will less supervision
•  In depth understanding of Petrol station piping is an added advantage 
• Good knowledge of related Health and Safety Standards is a plus.
