Responsibilities

Instructional Duties:

• Teach accounting concepts such as bookkeeping, financial statements, budgeting, taxation, and auditing.
• Develop lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student learning objectives.
• Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials, using real-world examples to make abstract concepts relatable.
• Use teaching aids and technology like spreadsheets, accounting software, and interactive tools to enhance learning.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Design and administer tests, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student understanding.
• Provide timely feedback on student performance and offer remedial support where needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student grades, attendance, and progress.

Curriculum and Professional Development:

• Update course materials to reflect current accounting standards and practices.
• Stay informed about changes in financial regulations, accounting software, and teaching methodologies.
• Participate in workshops and training to improve teaching skills and subject knowledge.

Student Engagement and Support:

• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through case studies and group projects.
• Support students’ career development by discussing professional paths in accounting and finance.
• Promote ethical behavior and integrity in financial reporting and decision-making.
