Business Relationship Manager at Unilag Microfinance Bank

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Business relationship manager to head one of our branches. The ideal candidate will oversee all branch operations, drive business growth and ensure excellent customer service in line with the bank’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the branch, including staff management, customer service, and compliance.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow the bank’s deposit base and loan portfolio.
• Ensure effective credit risk management and quality loan portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the host community.
• Prepare and present periodic performance reports to executive management.
• Ensure adherence to all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, motivate, and train branch staffs to achieve performance targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (a Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in a financial institution, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of microfinance banking operations, credit administration, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to meet targets and drive performance under pressure.
