Business Manager at Sigma Consult

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to oversee the operational and financial aspects of the organization. The Business Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization, including financial management, organizational development, and strategic planning. This position requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to the organization’s values mission of raising awareness, providing support, and advocating for individuals affected by endometriosis and adenomyosis.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Manage the society's finances, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and transparency.
• Work closely with the Treasurer to oversee revenue generation, membership dues, donations, and grants.
• Monitor expenses, analyze financial data, and provide regular reports to the Executive Board.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with the Executive Board to develop long-term goals, objectives, and strategies for the society.
• Identify opportunities for growth, partnership development, and revenue diversification.
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about trends and best practices in the field.

Organizational Development:

• Oversee day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the society.
• Implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.

Membership Engagement:

• Work closely with the Membership Committee to recruit, retain, and engage members.
• Develop initiatives to enhance member benefits, services, and satisfaction.
• Coordinate membership drives, events, and outreach activities to expand the society's reach.

Advocacy and External Relations:

• Represent the society in external forums, meetings, and collaborations with stakeholders.
• Advocate for policy changes, healthcare reforms, and increased awareness of endometriosis and adenomyosis.
• Cultivate relationships with government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations.

Event Planning and Coordination:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of educational courses, webinars, congresses, and community health awareness forums.
• Ensure seamless coordination of logistics, speakers, sponsors, and participants for events

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in business management, preferably in the non-profit sector or healthcare industry.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective plans and initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to the mission and values of the Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Society of Nigeria.
