Business Intelligence Analyst at Vendease

Job Summary

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join the Data and Insight team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, proficiency in BI tools, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights. The BI Analyst will be responsible for creating reports, dashboards, and data visualisations that support decision-making across the organisation.

Job Details

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations using Power BI
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and create custom reports to support business initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity and maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, methodologies, and processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Power BI.
• Strong experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data modelling.
• Understanding of data visualisation best practices.
• Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in BI, data analytics, or a related role.
• Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions and improvements.
