    Business Development Officer

    Job Summary

    • Customer acquisition and revenue growth
    • Strong product and market development initiatives.
    • Improving team cohesiveness, and ensuring capacity development, evidence of improved productivity.

    Responsibilities

    • Creation and implementation of sales plans
    • Develop key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets.
    • Converting new and existing products and solutions into profitable revenue lines.
    • Proactive engagement of the existing and potential clients for the effective delivery of agreed budgets and targets for sales and business development. Building and maintaining strong and long-lasting relationships whilst understanding customer trends.
    • Lead the development of the company’s business activities, product development through a research-based approach.
    • Monitor achievement against plans and organizational performance data, adjusting execution as required to deliver outcomes.
    • Gather and share appropriate and relevant information in a timely manner to aid organizational decision-making.
    • Coordinate and monitor financial and budget activities for maximum operational efficiency and utilize an available budget to implement required initiatives within agreed levels.
    • Develop and sustain a culture of continuous improvement formulating and implementing productivity and quality improvement initiatives for the Sales and Business Development network.
    • Exceed annual sales targets set for the products
    • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
    • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.

    Qualifications / Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or any of the humanities.
    • Minimum of 3 years of sales and marketing experience of ICT environment
    • Cognate experience in driving sales at a strategic level. Cognitive marketing / business development experience is preferable
    • Presentation Skills.
    • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong customer focus
    • Smart thinker and execution skills
    • Business and entrepreneurial spirit
    • Results and performance-oriented
    • Leadership capacity to engage effectively at all levels.

    Salary
    N75,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
