Job Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Officer with a proven track record of success in the marine logistics industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the maritime sector and a strong ability to identify, develop, and cultivate profitable business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the marine logistics sector, including shipping, chartering, port operations, and related services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, including shipping companies, freight forwarders, and other key stakeholders.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure profitable business deals.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry associations and regulatory bodies.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's overall business development strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in business development within the marine logistics industry.
• Proven track record of success in identifying and closing new business deals.
• Strong understanding of the maritime industry, including shipping regulations, trade routes, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
