    Business Development Manager

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    • Ensuring company’s growth objectives are attained through articulating new business development opportunities and identifying, negotiating and managing relationships in line with corporate goals.
    • Lead the formulation, execution and monitoring of company’s business development, market penetration strategies and plans for enhancing business growth.
    • Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth.
    • Oversee strategy implementation through integrating various functional activities and ensuring adherence to an operational framework of policies and procedures in order to optimize service delivery.
    • Participate in client proposal/contract negotiations as required.
    • Attend conferences, meetings, and relevant industry events to gain insight on industry trends and developments.
    • Monitor and achieve sales revenue volumes against budgeted targets, monitor forecast and other sales management information.
    • Responsible for annual development of sales & marketing budget and plan in coordination with company budget and strategy.
    • Developing and maintaining positive relationship with new and existing clients that are in alignment with company goals and strategies.
    • Identify, negotiate and manage strategic relationships.
    • Evaluate client needs, develop client relationships and implement sales strategies to progress the relationships.
    • Mentoring team members for improved performance individually and corporately.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in any related Engineering discipline.
    • In-depth knowledge of up-coming and on-going key projects in the upstream sector of the Oil and Gas industry.
    • A minimum of 5 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry
    • Previous sales engineer or account manager experience would be an added advantage
    • Excellent relationship management skills.
    • Proven ability to advice and persuade clients
    • Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills.
    • Proven experience of working with minimum supervision.
    • Exceptional mentoring and people management skills.
