    Business Development Manager

    Our client a major player in the Hospitality sector urgently requires the service of the followings:


    A.      KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS NEEDED:

    Interested applicant must be conversant with

    • Business development skills.
    • Bidding skill and technics (NIPEX, Ariba, etc)
    • Marketing and organizing skill.
    • Event planner skills
    • Online advertisement knowledge
    • Technical skill
    • Negotiation skill
    • Companies’ registration skill
    • Understanding requirements on personnel on board and items required
    • Food portioning/ measurements and costing.
    • Selling price and cost price report sheets
    • Expenditure and income monitoring
    • Reporting and invoicing/ speed sheet
    • Weekly reporting
    • Monitoring daily sales and reporting weekly

    B.      OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
    • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
    • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
    • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
    • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
    • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
    • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
    • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople 

    C.      REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role
    • Proven sales track record
    • Experience in customer support is a plus
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
    • Proficiency in English
    • Market knowledge
    • Communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to build rapport
    • Time management and planning skills

    D.      QUALIFICATION

    BSc/BA in business administration and Mgt or Accounting   with at least 7yrs experience as a Manager/Supervisor in a Hospitality industry or outdoor catering outfit.
