    Business Development Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work with the Management to review vendors, and conduct market research to identify potential development opportunities.
    • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
    • Identify suitable parcels of land for development.
    • Negotiate purchase agreements and conduct due diligence on prospective properties.
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project designs that meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory requirements.
    • Create and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and managing cash flow.
    • Develop marketing strategies to promote real estate projects to potential buyers or tenants.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards throughout the development process.
    • Communicate project goals, progress updates, and challenges to stakeholders.
    • Provide weekly project reports to the General Manager, and to the BOT upon request.
    • Monitor performance with tracking software take corrective measures when necessary, and prepare detailed updates.
    • Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Periodically plan and implement in-house professional training to address knowledge gaps identified within the team as well as to introduce new standards to the team.

    Key Requirements

    • B.Sc./B.A./B.Eng./Tech
    • 5-10 years of business development experience, preferably in the Real Estate/Construction Industry/sector.
    • Certificate in PMP, HSE, and Prince 2/CPM will be an added advantage.
    • The ability to make use of MS Project tool, JIRA, or Trello will be an added advantage.
