    Business Development Manager (Enterprise Core Banking Apps Business)

    Job Description

    • Identification of prospective institution clients requiring Core Banking solutions, as well as initiation of sales efforts to sign them up.
    • Presentation and demonstration of relevant products and services to potential clients as part of the sales effort.
    • General sales interactions with potential clients to facilitate rapid customer acquisition in line with the business goals.
    • Consistent achievement of client acquisition, overall business growth, and revenue targets as defined in line with overall company strategy.
    • Involvement in the review of prospective client systems, analysis of client requirements and formulation of suitable product enhancements or custom features to address client needs.
    • Generate leads, cold call prospective customers and identify key personnel in prospective client organizations for engagement.
    • Articulate and engage the Product Marketing Manager on promotional strategies to drive product visibility and uptake.

    Requirements

    • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
    • 5+ years’ work experience in business development or sales role in a financial institution, and/or multinational B2B financial technology or technology company.
    • Strong capabilities in B2B sales operations, relationships management, lead generation, lead conversion, negotiation, and product presentation.
    • Good knowledge of software development, banking, and/or similar core banking solutions.
    • Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills, good relationship management and negotiation skills
    • Good business acumen and a strong drive for result with resilience, determination, capacity and willingness to learn, unlearn and relearn
    • Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to collaborate, work, manage and interact with different kinds of people across different management cadres.
    • Technology savvy with good knowledge of Core Banking Applications and its variant solutions
