    Business Development Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Drive the growth of DLM products among both institutional and retail clients.
    • Customize investment solutions to meet the specific needs of prospects and clients.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction to ensure high-quality service delivery to existing clients.
    • Develop and expand institutional and strategic partnerships for DLM Capital Group within Nigeria and across other African countries.
    • Explore and secure new business opportunities to achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.
    • Develop and execute sales activities, including investment team meetings, roadshows, campaigns, presentations, due diligence visits, and ongoing relationship management.
    • Establish strong relationships with prospects and clients, leading to new business mandates or injections of funds.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.
    • Generate quality assets for the company and manage both existing and new clients effectively.
    • Continuously generate low/medium-cost liabilities to fund the company’s assets.
    • Customize investment solutions to align with the investment objectives of clients and prospects.

    The Person

    • Must possess a First Degree from a reputable tertiary institution with a minimum of Second-Class Lower (2:2).
    • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an institutional or business development role in the financial services industry.
    • Professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CIS, CFA, or MBA are an added advantage.
    • Strong knowledge of money and capital market operations.
    • Excellent understanding of investment and portfolio management.
    • Proven ability to identify clients' needs and challenges.
    • Knowledge of alternative and innovative financial market instruments/products.
    • Proficiency in Business Development and Sales.
    • Must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
