The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase revenue, improve market position, and achieve financial growth.
This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, a deep understanding of market trends, and a proven track record of driving business success.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue and profitability.
Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customers.
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis
Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and government agencies.
Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships and alliances.
Lead the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Provide coaching, support, and guidance to improve performance.
Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to develop new products and services that meet market demands and drive growth.
Monitor financial performance, analyze results, and implement corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met.
Develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
Oversee marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective relationship management and service delivery.
Address customer issues and complaints promptly.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Identify and mitigate business risks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the oil and gas industry.
Proven track record of achieving significant revenue growth and business success.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Deep understanding of the oil and gas market, industry trends, and regulatory environment.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
