We are looking for an energetic and determined Business Development Manager to help drive growth for our recruitment partner ecosystem. You’ll own and nurture a diverse portfolio of recruitment partners (RPs), serving as their strategic advocate and trusted advisor. From onboarding to expansion, you’ll lead relationship management, ensure enrollment delivery, and boost RP engagement and wallet share through highly personalized support, targeted training, and data-driven performance conversations. Expect high-impact collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product in a fast-paced, autonomous environment, and tangible wins as you turn partnerships into scalable revenue engines.
What You’ll Be Doing Every Day:
Act as an ambassador for ApplyBoard, representing our mission and services to educational agents, international institutions, and prospective students.
Cultivate a deep understanding of ApplyBoard’s value and offerings, ensuring effective promotion to a diverse audience of students and educational partners.
Develop and execute strategies to increase international student enrollment, recruiting from a wide array of regions to join ApplyBoard’s network.
Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, negotiating terms, providing comprehensive training, and maintaining active engagement through consistent communication.
Guide and train agents to improve the quality and volume of student applications, ensuring adherence to ApplyBoard’s standards.
Use CRM and social media platforms to share key messages, disseminate information, and drive engagement among potential and current students.
Develop and implement data-driven recruitment and marketing strategies informed by market research to optimize ApplyBoard’s international outreach.
Expand ApplyBoard’s international presence, ensuring that more students worldwide gain access to quality education.
What You Bring to the Table:
2-3 years managing recruitment or enterprise accounts, ideally within the international education sector.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Education) is preferred.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are an asset.
Ability to engage and motivate diverse stakeholders, from students to educational agents, with clear and persuasive communication.
A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment and works effectively independently.
Excellent organizational skills with a talent for managing priorities and ensuring accuracy in information and communications.
Resourceful problem-solver capable of navigating complex situations to deliver positive outcomes for students and partners.
Proficient in CRM systems; experience with social media and other digital engagement tools is an advantage.
