Job Summary

• Vethan Concepts Group Limited (VCGL) is seeking a proactive, commercially minded, and result-oriented NYSC Intern to join its Business Development team OR FRESHER that has completed their NYSC programme
• The ideal candidate should have an academic background or experience in Engineering, Information Technology, Technical Sales, or a related field, with an interest in business development, client acquisition, and marketing of technical products and services.
• The successful candidate will support business development initiatives across the company's technology and engineering business operations, identifying potential clients, generating leads, and developing business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the engineering, technology, and IT sectors.
• Generate leads and identify prospective corporate clients and business partners.
• Market and promote the company's engineering, IT, and technical solutions to prospective customers.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
• Support the preparation of business proposals, quotations, presentations, and technical sales documents.
• Engage prospective clients, conduct follow-ups, and maintain professional business relationships.
• Support client meetings, product demonstrations, and business presentations.
• Assist in developing sales strategies and implementing business development initiatives.
• Maintain an updated database of leads, prospects, client interactions, and business opportunities.
• Prepare regular reports on lead generation, client engagement, and business development activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be a serving NYSC corps member seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Previous exposure to engineering sales, IT sales, technical marketing, or business development will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of engineering solutions, IT products, software, or technical services.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital business tools.
• Ability to identify business opportunities and engage corporate clients.
• Self-motivated, confident, target-driven, and willing to learn.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with an engineering or IT background and an interest in commercial operations, technical sales, and business development are strongly encouraged to apply.
