    Business Development Executive (Marine Logistics)

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth and expand market opportunities.
    • This role involves identifying, pursuing new business prospects, building strong client relationships, and leading contract and bidding processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create and implement effective business development strategies to attract new clients, meet revenue targets and expand market share.
    • Ensure full achievement of assigned sales targets and effective account management.
    • Prepare detailed business cases and revenue forecasts for new opportunities, including risk assessments.
    • Identify, qualify, and pursue leads through outbound campaigns, networking, and market research.
    • Pitch and actively participate in tenders, ensuring timely and compliant submissions while engaging with industry regulators.
    • Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to win new business.
    • Devise and execute sales calls through various channels such as in-person visits, phone calls, and direct emails.
    • Negotiate contracts and prices with clients and vendors to ensure profitable deals while meeting customers' requirements.
    • Maintain a comprehensive record of all client activities and interactions.
    • Stay ahead by conducting thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and trends.
    • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
    • Handle client inquiries, address complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize business development efforts.
    • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, forecasts, and results.

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 6 - 8 years’ experience in sales and business development, particularly within the Marine Logistics industry.
    • Strong business acumen and understanding of Marine Logistics and Offshore Operations.
    • Proven track record in sales, with a focus on client acquisition and retention.
    • Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date client interaction records.
    • Excellent communication (written and oral), negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to strategize, plan, and execute sales calls effectively.
    • Ownership mentality and ability to manage end-to-end client relationships.
    • Strong alignment with operational standards and customer satisfaction.
    • Goal-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving targets.
