We are seeking a goal-oriented and strategic Business Development Officer (B2B) to drive client acquisition and revenue growth.
This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with corporate clients (especially Heads of HR and Operations Managers), and positioning our services as solutions to their workforce and logistics challenges.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new B2B sales opportunities within the logistics, e-commerce, FMCG, manufacturing, and corporate sectors.
Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers such as HR Heads, Admin Managers, and CEOs.
Pitch recruitment, outsourcing, and driver management services to potential clients.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Prepare business proposals, service agreements, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams (recruitment, training, operations) to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.
Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and trade shows.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
2 – 3 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in logistics, HR, or outsourcing industries.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian business environment and HR/logistics outsourcing landscape.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Self-motivated, proactive, and results oriented.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
