About the Role

• Jocam Nigeria Limited is seeking a Business Development Associate with an engineering background and a passion for driving growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and translating technical knowledge into strategic value.
• You’ll work closely with the sales, engineering, and management teams to expand our footprint, especially across the Lagos business hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Understand client needs and communicate how our technical solutions address them
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals and presentations
• Conduct market research to support strategic planning and positioning
• Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, and industry forums

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1)
• 2–3 years proven experience
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to understand and explain technical solutions in a business context
• Must reside in Lagos, with easy access to the Island
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven
