The Business Development and Communications Manager will drive organizational growth through strategic partnerships, revenue generation initiatives, brand visibility, and effective stakeholder communication. The role requires a dynamic professional who can identify business opportunities, manage client relationships, lead communication strategies, and strengthen the organization’s market presence.

The ideal candidate must possess strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking abilities, and experience in managing both corporate communications and business growth initiatives.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in marketing, PR, or integrated communications, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing Pan-African campaigns and multi-market projects.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, PR, and integrated marketing strategies.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Exceptional writing, presentation, and communication abilities.
• Experience in agency environments or managing multiple client portfolios is a strong advantage.

Duties

• Collaborating with senior team members across all departments to uncover insights and create innovative marketing and branding strategies.
• Identifying ways to grow the marketing department and secure resources.
• Sourcing talent to ensure the curation and retention of specialist skill sets across your teams.
• Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on all marketing activities, results, and Return on Investment (ROI)
• Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong media and influencer relations across Africa.
• Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools.
