Business Developer (Entry Level) at Otoko Soils Limited

Position Overview:

The Entry Level Business Developer will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our business. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the development and implementation of strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities in target markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of business development strategies to meet company goals.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to potential clients.
• Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
• Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals
• Maintain accurate records of business development activities and provide regular reports to management.
• Identify and research potential clients.
• Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed
• Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
• Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business
• Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
• Track and report on the status of proposal components
• Conduct ongoing market research
• Work with the pricing department to create rate proposals
• Drive the end-to-end sales process
• Prepare and submit sales contracts
• Source for human resource for specific areas of organizational development as needed

Job Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

Experience:

• Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or a related field is a plus, but not required.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the business development field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
