The Business Analyst works closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable insights and solutions.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth analysis of business operations, systems, and processes to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for optimization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring clarity and understanding of objectives.
Perform feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed changes, considering financial, operational, and technological aspects.
Use analytical tools and techniques to evaluate data and generate insights that drive informed decision-making and support business strategies.
Develop and maintain documentation such as business process flows, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and marketing, to ensure successful implementation of projects and initiatives.
Assist in the design and implementation of new business processes, systems, and tools, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular reports and presentations for management.
Provide training and support to end-users on new processes, systems, and tools, ensuring smooth adoption and utilization.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and recommend relevant improvements to enhance business performance and compliance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
4 Years plus experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze complex data sets.
Proficient in using business analysis tools and techniques such as process mapping, data modeling, and requirements gathering.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying issues and proposing solutions.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Knowledge of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using productivity tools and software such as Microsoft Office, project management tools, and data visualization tools.
Professional certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.
