    Bursar

    The Position

    • The Bursar shall be a full-time officer and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the university.

    Qualifications and Experience
    Candidates for the post of Bursar, Olabisi Onabanjo University should possess:

    • (1) A good Honours Degree in Accounting or related discipline from reputable Institutions not below Second Class Lower Division with NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption/Exclusion, and
    • (2) Full membership of ACCA, ACA, ACMA or CPA with at least ten (10) years Post- professional qualification/cognate experience in a University or comparable Institution.
    • Relevant Higher Degree or Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
    • Candidates must be Deputy Bursar of at least five (05) years standing in a University
    • Candidates that will be over sixty (60) years of age as at December, 2023 need not apply. or related Institution.

    Tenure

    • The appointment is for a term of five (05) years, renewable for one (01) year subject to satisfactory performance as may be determined by the Governing Council of Olabisi Onabanjo University.

    Remuneration
    The person appointed shall be placed on consolidated salary and shall enjoy other conditions of service applicable to the position of a Principal Officer of the University.

    • Name and addresses of Three (3) Referees, who should write to attest to the Candidates standing and abilities, professionally, managerially, as well as morals, character and Integrity.
