    Bursar

    Duties

    • The Bursar is the Head of the Bursary Department of the University and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day to day administration of the Department and other functions assigned to him.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • The Bursar, who is the Head of the Department should possess a B.Sc. Degree or its equivalents in Accounting / Accountancy.
    • In addition, the candidate should possess ACA or ICAN or ACCA or ANAN plus twenty-two (22) years post qualification experience, most of which must be within a University system.
    • He must also possess a record of good health and adequate leadership experience as well as high degree of competence, integrity and dependability. The candidate must be computer literate.

    Age:

    • The candidate for the position must not be more than sixty (60) years of age at the time of assumption of office.

    Conditions of Service and Salary Scale
    The appointment shall be for a single tenure of five (5) years on such terms and conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment and on a salary scale of CONUSS 15.

    • Names and Addresses of three Referees.
