Job Description

• The Bursar is a Principal Officer and the Chief Financial Officer of the University, responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the University.

Eligibility Criteria
An interested candidate must possess the following:

• A good honours Degree in Accounting, with specialized ICT skills;
• A recognised professional accounting qualification(s), from any of the following bodies:
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales
  • Association of National Accountants of Nigeria
• He/she must have attained the rank of Deputy Bursina University.

Salary and Conditions of Service

• The salary and Conditions of Service is attractive and comparable with top Nigerian private universities.
• Tenure: Candidates shall hold office for a single term of five years only, on such terms and conditions, specified ab initio, in their Letters of Appointment and any others approved, from time to time, by the Governing Council. In all cases, appropriate cognate experience (i.e. previous/current service in the substantive position) will be an advantage.
