We are seeking an experienced and proactive BTS Head to lead the end-to-end management of Base Transceiver Station (BTS) operations. The ideal candidate will oversee installation, maintenance, and performance optimization of BTS infrastructure, ensuring high network availability and quality service delivery. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to meet project goals, resolve escalations, and maintain service level agreements (SLAs).
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise engineers to ensure accurate and timely task execution (First Time Right).
Align team with project goals, timelines, and expectations through clear communication.
Delegate tasks effectively and support timely fault resolution within SLA.
Oversee link installations and prevent repeat faults on new deployments (First Time Right).
Ensure 100% BTS uptime through constant link and trunk monitoring.
Guarantee accurate site surveys to support quality installations (First Time Right).
Manage stock records and submit monthly reports to the Stockkeeper.
Submit daily activity reports for effective tracking and escalation management.
Troubleshoot and resolve network device issues; escalate when necessary.
Collaborate with the SM team to maintain operational standards and resolve issues.
Ensure full stakeholder communication and 100% compliance with Odoo ERP for all field services.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in BTS/network infrastructure management.
Strong technical knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G technologies and wireless transmission.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and lead field teams across multiple locations.
