Branch Lead at Unilag Microfinance Bank

Job Summary

• We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Business relationship manager to head one of our branches.
• The ideal candidate will oversee all branch operations, drive business growth and ensure excellent customer service in line with the bank’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the branch, including staff management, customer service, and compliance.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow the bank’s deposit base and loan portfolio.
• Ensure effective credit risk management and quality loan portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the host community.
• Prepare and present periodic performance reports to executive management.
• Ensure adherence to all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, motivate, and train branch staffs to achieve performance targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (a Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in a financial institution, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of microfinance banking operations, credit administration, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to meet targets and drive performance under pressure.
