    Branch Manager

    Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

    Job Summary

    • The Branch Manager will oversee the general activities and drive commercial development of the branch while supporting all undertakings of the business units and support functions in and around the region.
    • The Branch Manager will report to the Regional Manager.

    Job Description

    • Actively sell all company services to build volumes for the branch.
    • Oversee the day-to-day activities and staff of the branch.
    • Ensure costs of running the branch are monitored and reduced.
    • Maintain excellent communication with Clientele while acting as Company’s contact person.
    • Continuously prospecting for new Clients for all the services of the Company.
    • Coordinating renewals and/or obtain all licences and permits for the Company.
    • Ensure that branch related jobs are billed, and payments received within set limits.
    • Promptly respond to all enquiries and/or forward same to appropriate department for action.
    • Provide logistics support to all shipments and visiting Staff.
    • Keep adequate inventory and maintenance of all Company’s assets and liabilities (Client’s good in storage) with scheduled reporting to appropriate department.
    • Ensure all activities of the branch are accomplished within statutory framework, the Company’s integrity and HSE policy.
    • Keep adequate records of the branch activities daily and make weekly and monthly reports as appropriate.
    • Ensure that all government and trade related circulars are obtained and circulated promptly.
    • Any other duty as assigned by Management.


    • A Bachelor's Degree or HND in any field. Any other professional qualification in relevant discipline is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of Six (6) years’ relevant experience.
    • Candidates must have requisite experience
    • Proficiency in Import / Export procedure and government agencies procedures
    • Good knowledge of Customs practices and tariff classification.
    • Good understanding of INCOTERMS
    • Excellent communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent administrative knowledge and an outstanding team player.
    • Good Leadership and motivational skill.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites.
