Role Description

• The Bookkeeper at Ritzman Smarthomes and Automations Ltd will manage day-to-day financial records and ensure accurate tracking of company transactions. This full-time, on-site role is based in Lekki and includes tasks such as recording journal entries, reconciling bank statements, maintaining ledgers, and preparing basic financial reports.
• The Bookkeeper will work closely with management to support budgeting, expense monitoring, and cash flow tracking, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards. Additional responsibilities may include invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and providing timely financial information to support operational decision-making.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong bookkeeping skills, including maintaining ledgers and accurate day-to-day financial records.
• Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing financial statements and basic financial reports.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and related digital financial tools.
• Candidates should possess foundational finance knowledge and the ability to support budgeting and cash flow management.
• Candidates should possess accurate and timely journal entry (accounting) skills, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field are beneficial.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent), attention to detail, integrity, and strong numerical skills are advantageous.
