Job Summary:

• The Blow Mold Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of blow molding equipment used in the production of bottled water. This role ensures the efficient manufacturing of high-quality plastic bottles while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate blow molding machines to manufacture plastic bottles according to production specifications.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair blow molding equipment to minimize downtime.
• Quality Control: Monitor and inspect bottles for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and company specifications.
• Process Optimization: Adjust machine settings and parameters to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, machine performance, maintenance activities, and downtime.
• Material Handling: Ensure proper storage and usage of raw materials, resins, and other supplies required for production.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality control teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical and operational issues promptly to maintain productivity.

Qualifications:

• Test Trade, ND, or HND.
• Proven experience as a Blow Mold Technician or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of blow molding processes.
• Become familiar with tools and equipment used in machine setup, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Basic knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
