Biomedical Engineer at Memfys Hospital and Neurosurgery

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrating and explaining the correct operation of equipment to medical personnel and other users
• Installing, adjusting, maintaining, repairing, and/or providing technical support for biomedical equipment
• Implementing training programs for healthcare professionals on the use of installed devices and programs
• Assessing the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment, as well as monitoring the use of medical biomedical equipment to ensure proper use
• Analyzing failures and breakdowns in biomedical equipment, and instituting corrective and preventive action to respond to patient/other staff complaints.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc. Degree in Biomedical Engineering or any other related field
• At least two years proven experience (gained within the last five years) in maintaining biomedical equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
• Effective communication skills, including written and oral communications
• Strong analytical skills for assessing patient needs and coming up with appropriate design solutions
• Strong leadership skills
• Advanced research and presentation skills.
