Biology Specialist at Blooms Academy

Job Description

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Biology lessons for WAEC and IGCSE levels.
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, practical guides, and assessments in line with both WAEC and Cambridge IGCSE syllabi.
• Utilize modern teaching methods, technology, and hands-on activities to stimulate learning and critical thinking.
• Coach students for internal assessments, mock exams, practicals, and final external examinations (WAEC & IGCSE).
• Track and analyze students’ performance to identify areas of improvement and provide timely academic support.
• Develop and maintain biology labs and resources, ensuring safe and effective practical sessions.
• Collaborate with other teachers and academic coordinators to ensure curriculum continuity and consistency.
• Participate in academic meetings, school events, professional development, and parent-teacher interactions.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of work experience.
