Billing Officer at Lily Hospitals Limited

Job Summary 

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Billing Officer to join our hospital team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient billing, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate patient bills (inpatient & outpatient)
• Verify treatment details and ensure proper billing documentation
• Process payments (cash, POS, transfers, and insurance claims)
• Liaise with insurance providers for claims and follow-ups
• Maintain and update patient billing records
• Resolve billing discrepancies and attend to patient inquiries
• Generate daily and monthly financial reports.

Requirements

• HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields
• 1 - 3 years relevant experience (hospital experience is an advantage)
• Good knowledge of billing systems and basic accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Good communication and customer service skills.
