Battery Lead at Koolboks

Role Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and driven Battery Lead to oversee the development, performance, and lifecycle management of our battery systems.
• This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our energy storage solutions across all Koolboks products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, testing, and optimization of battery systems for Koolboks products
• Monitor battery performance, diagnose issues, and implement improvements
• Establish and enforce quality, safety, and compliance standards for battery operations
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to enhance system efficiency
• Manage battery sourcing, vendor relationships, and technical specifications
• Develop maintenance protocols and lifecycle management strategies
• Stay up to date with advancements in battery technology and recommend innovations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience working with battery systems, energy storage, or related technologies
• Strong understanding of lithium-ion batteries, BMS (Battery Management Systems), and safety standards
• Experience in product development, testing, and performance optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
