Job Summary

• The St. Bridget's Schools is seeking passionate, dedicated, and qualified Junior Secondary School Teachers to join our academic team.
• Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing classrooms effectively, assessing student progress, and supporting the overall academic and personal development of students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, notes, assignments, tests, and other instructional materials.
• Assess and monitor students’ academic progress.
• Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
• Provide appropriate academic support to students.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ performance and attendance.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and active participation in learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school management.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of NCE, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, the relevant subject area, or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience at the Junior Secondary School level is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of the relevant subject and current curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and deliver engaging lessons.
• Passion for teaching and developing young learners.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.

Added Advantage:

• TRCN registration.
• Experience preparing students for BECE or other relevant examinations.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methods and educational technology.
• Ability to teach more than one relevant subject.
