We are excited to offer an internship opportunity for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn Backend Engineering Intern. As part of our development team, you will gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications. This role is ideal for individuals looking to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting and learn from experienced developers.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Help design and implement data storage solutions, including databases.
Contribute to optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and receive feedback to improve your coding skills.
Troubleshoot and debug issues under the guidance of senior developers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development.
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of at least one backend programming language such as Python, Java, and Node.js.
Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Eagerness to learn and ability to quickly pick up new technologies and concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Basic understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
